Like all Nikita Convertibles, the Freedom Chair reclines all the way to flat. You may want to order a SURE STOP RECLINE KIT for your Freedom Chair if you think you will be reclining in it. (...who wouldn't want to...) Easy going and easy does it. The wheels are for smooth reclining and converting. They also make it easy to roll around... from family room to guest room, from kitchen corner to kid's playroom or even from den to deck and then on to the dock.
